TimeTrek is developed at Turku

TimeTrek was built to Turku 2011, first in the world. The TimeTrek concept was created by Kirsi and Harry Lehto, involved in Astrobiology teaching at University of Turku University. The content of TimeTrek was written by several researchers and teachers at University of Turku University and Åbo Akademi University. Turku and Kaarina municipalities participated to implementation of the route and stones were donated by Palin Granit Oy. Project has been funded by regional council of southwest Finland, Turku 2011 Foundation, Jenny ja Antti Wihuri foundation, K.H. Renlund foundation and Finnish Cultural Foundation. Currently TimeTrek is maintained by Aikavaellus ry.
